We’ll head out from Castro to Chepu River where we’ll get familiar with the basics of handling our kayak and try out our safety equipment. After this, we’ll spend 3 hours kayaking through submerged temperate rain forests that boast an abundance of birdlife, among other flora and fauna – all associated with this wet temperate ecosystem.

Finished the kayak we continue in the area of Chepu to visit a rural tourism spot -Los Senderos de Chepu- where our host will be waiting for us with homemade lunch to recover energy before enjoying a 2 hours hike inside an old native forest where we´ll have plenty of chances to observe, or at least listen to birds as Chucao tapaculo (Scerolchilus rubecula) or the black-throated Huet Huet (Pteroptochos tarnii) 

In the afternoon, we return to Castro.
