ITINERARY
This trip combines the main attractions in the Lake District with an invitation to discover the magical Chiloé Island and its wildlife. Bike, kayak or boat trips are just some of the activities that we’ll enjoy as we explore Chiloé Island and the Lake District
Day 1: Trekking National Reserve Llanquihue & National Park Alerce Andino/
Day 2: Half-day rafting at Petrohue River + shuttle to Chiloé Island and visit Puñíhuil Penguin colony.
Day 3: Kayak in Chepu River in the morning and hike into the forest by the afternoon.
Day 4: Full day trip bike to Chiloé National Park (38 km /24 miles)
Day 5: Half-day hike to Punta Pirulil + shuttles out.
* The boat trip at Puñihuil penguin colony is available from September to March subject to weather conditions. The boating services are delivered by the company. Bahía Puñihuil that provides boat trip services to Chiloétnico. Both companies are registered on SERNATUR

1-night accommodation in Puerto Varas with breakfast + 1-night accommodation at Puñihuil with dinner and breakfast + 1-night accommodation in Castro with breakfast included + 1-night accommodation in Cucao with breakfast.

NOTE
During winters we’ll visit the “Fuerte San Miguel de Ahui”, the old Spanish fortification located at Lacuy peninsula due to the seasonal arrival from Magellan & Humboldt penguins.
