ITINERARY

Would you like to know why this 5-days program is amazing for a naturalist, scientist, and general nature lovers?
Because, in case you don’t know, most of the forest’s surface on Chiloé Island belongs to the Temperate Rain Forest, which it’s considerate a biogeographic Island itself, where half of the species that we can find are endemic from this particular ecosystem, like “Alerce” tree, (Fitzroya cupresoide) endangered species, protected from 1980. But there are still more wonders in Chiloe’s nature, and as long as we move from north to the south, we’ll find more species belonging to the evergreen Patagonian forest where trees like “Coihue” (Nothofagus dombeyi), “Tepú” (Tepualia stipularis) and “Ciprés de las Guaitecas” (Pilgerodendrum uviferum) are more representatives.
So there it is!…5-days traveling with a local guide to show you and marvel with Chiloé island biodiversity
