TOUR
This morning we leave Castro toward Chepu locality in the North, where our host will waiting for us for River navigation until reach the mouth of Chepu River. Once there we’ll disembark to visit the new and beautiful Muelle de la Luz that offers a great view of the Pacific Ocean.
Back at the other shore, we’re ready for lunchtime, and our host leads us to a cozy and nice ambient with a panoramic view to the River, where we’ll relish a delightful lunch with local products.
After lunch, we recover energy to begin one of the best hikes trails of the island, wherein about two hours we’re going deep into an old evergreen forest where we’ll have plenty of chances for birding, even if we are not experts; besides to learn something about some of the native species as Ulmo (Eucryphia cordifolia), Canelo (Drimis winteri) or Tepa (Laureliopsis philippiana.) many of them endemic of the templates rain forest of Chiloé
In the afternoon we back to Castro
