This five days program allows you to explore Chiloé in the best way possible, only two wheels and all the nature that will surround you at every single day of the trip. Those scenes that you had in your mind from smiling people working in the fields, quiet roads, and incredible views come true in this program.

With a local guide and a support vehicle for the bike trips, there are no excuses to miss this opportunity to enjoy a real active cultural tourism experience

Day 1: Pick up in the morning and bike fitting & safety talk + Bike to Puñihuil Penguin colony. (28 KM ride/ 17 Miles). Lunch and bat trip at Puñihuil penguin colony.

Day 2: Shuttle from Castro to Dalcahue + Bike to Quinchao Island. (40 KM ride/24.8 Miles). Lunch included

Day 3: Shuttle from Castro to Huicha + bike to Lemuy Island (35 KM ride/ 21 Miles). Lunch included.

Day 4: Bike to Chiloé National Park along Huillinco and Cucao lakes (38kms/24 miles). Lunch at local community and entrance fee to Chiloé National Park included.

Day 5: Hike to Punta Pirulil in the morning + shuttle out.

* The boat trip at Puñihuil penguin colony is available from September to March subject to weather conditions. The boating services are delivered by the company Bahía Puñihuil that provides boat trip services to Chiloétnico. Both companies are registered on SERNATUR

ACCOMMODATION

3 night’s accommodation in Castro with breakfast included + 1-night accommodation in Cucao with breakfast included.
All programs include local bilingual guide, transportation, first aid kit, and taxes. This program also includes bikes and safety equipment, support vehicle for bike trips & mechanic support for bikes

 

NOTE

Due to the seasonal arrival from Magellan & Humboldt penguins (Sept. to March) offseason we visit the “Fuerte San Miguel de Ahui”, the old Spanish fortification located at Lacuy peninsula (42 km / 25 miles)
